Yi Zeng from China is currently studying for her Masters in Nutrition, Physical Activity and Public Health at the University of Bristol.
She discovered her love of cooking in quite an unusual way! “Back when I was living in China I knew nothing about cooking. One year I applied for a voluntary job, cooking in a hostel in a seaside city.
I did not tell them that I hadn’t done any cooking before, I just went straight to the kitchen and followed the cooking steps from an app on my phone.
Finally I learned how to cook and – realized that I’d started to love cooking!
Most importantly, the dishes I cooked were all amazing and incredibly delicious, which I am really proud of!
