There’s nothing we love more than cooking and sharing food together in person, however while that’s not possible we’ve taken things online. Over the last few months we have run online cook-alongs for organisations big and small, and the feedback has been so positive that we are going to start running these more regularly. Read on to find out more – including how to book your own!
Previous cook-alongs have included an alternative festive feast with Bristolian Chef Adrian Kirikmaa, Eritrean Hamli (a tasty spinach side dish) with 91 Ways Ambassador Negat Hussein, and an array of Indian treats with our founder Kalpna Woolf!
91 Ways works with a wide range of community cooks from across the globe, and part of our events is always about sharing stories and heritage. As well as teaching you and your attendees how to make a delicious meal, our cook will deepen your understanding of their culture and the place food holds within it.
“Thank you Negat and Harriet for hosting the Telegraph’s first virtual cook along event! Highly recommended event for connecting people through isolation and it’s all for a great charity – 91 Ways to Build a Global City.” – The Telegraph
All participants will be sent the list of ingredients a week before the event, and then all that’s left to do is get your aprons on and get cooking! Online cook-alongs are a great way to bond as a team while learning something new, and cooking something you might not usually try.
